Nnamdi Kanu a Hero or a Mirror?

When Mr Anthony Ejiofor Ojukwu a Nigerian political Analyst based in London, was asked If Mr Nnamdi Kanu the leader of I.P.O.B (Indeginous People Of Biafra) is really a Hero as many of his followers and supporters do say? this is what Mr Ojukwu has to say about Nnamdi Kanu

(Mr Anthony Ejiofor Ojukwu speaking)

"Mr Nnamdi Kanu is indeed a brave and courageous man but no yet a hero as some of his followers and supporters do say, because a hero according to dictionary definition is a person of great courage and bravery who has achieved many great things, and Mr Kanu has not yet achieve any tangible thing with his agitations, yes he has suffered many things for the cause of Biafra nevertheless there are many other people who have suffered even more, Mr Uwazurike the leader of M.A.S.S.O.B suffered even more harsh treatment in the hands of Nigerian security agents than Nnamdi Kanu, just that today's information technologies and the use of social media has made Nnamdi kanu's agitation for Biafra very big in the eyes of many and also made him a "hero" some might argue that kanu's sit-at-home order was observed by many in the eastern part of Nigeria which was a major achievement by his agitation which then makes him a hero but the reality on the ground is that many people stayed at home on the day of the Sit-At-Home protest not because they support the idea but were afraid that there will be violent clashes between the Nigerian police and the Biafra Agitators which might lead to lost of lives and properties and the same situation might repeat itself on the "no election in the eastern part of Nigeria" order given by Kanu because people might be afraid that Biafra Agitators might cause trouble during election and for that reason they stay at home on election day.

(Mr Anthony still speaking......)
Instead of calling Mr Nnamdi Kanu a hero, I will prefer to call him a "Mirror" because the actions of Mr Kanu mostly in the area of many people following him without asking questions about him especially in the area of his rligious beliefs? reflects the willingness of many to follow any person who seems to give them a promise of a solution to their problems without asking needful questions one might say what has his religious belief to do with what he is doing for his people? but one truth is that our religious beliefs has great influence in our decision making process, that is the reason why most electorates are very concern about the religious inclination of their candidate, now Nnamdi kanu practise Judaism, many Christians think that Judaism and Christianity is the same thing but they are wrong, actualy Judaism is an "Antichrist" religion, when I say an antichrist religion I mean that Judaism kicks against the person and teaching of Christ.

Judaism was instituted and authenticated by God through Moses and christianity came through judaism however judaism lost its authenticity when Christ died on the cross, so now the practise of judaism is not valid before God because we are no longer under the law (Judaism) but under grace (Christianity) the Bible even said that "Any spirit which denies the divinity of Christ is the spirit of antichrist" which is exactly what judaism does, nnamdi kanu's action is not just promoting Biafra but also introducing many Igbos to a another religion as we see many people including christians going to Him for prayers which is something that should give every christian in the eastern part of Nigeria concern, except if we too believe that Jesus christ is not the Son of God and that the efforts the Apostles made trying to convert the Israelites from Judaism to Chistianity was a waste and now we too want to go from Christianity to Judaism then we should just keep quite, i know everybody has the right to practise the religion he or she choses however it is needful that we ask questions about the religious inclination of those whom we chose to follow because it helps us understand the kinds of decision they can make or system they might create.

The agitation for Biafra is not a crime neither is it a bad thing, infact it is a worthy cause, and the focus of the Igbo people should not be just about having their Biafra state but the process of doing so, allowing our anger, our depression or our "dream" to override our knowlegde of what is right or wrong is never the right thing to do! the aggressive way and manner many Igbos are agitating for Biafra is becoming something else, a young man was almost beating to death by some other young men in a city in the Eastern part of Nigeria because he said Biafra will not stand, a friend of mine chose to share his mind on social media about the agitation of Biafra and why he thinks it will not work and he was viciously attacked by some Biafra agitators on social media who gave him the insult of his life, and all these form of agitations only leave one question in mind which is are the igbos trying to create a nation or spread hate? the push for the actulization of Biafra should unite us and not tear us apart, The igbos must come together to look for ways to improve the lives and standard of living of the people living in the south eastern part of Nigeria, I know some might try to argue that the government mostly at the Federal level is hindering growth and development that can better the lives of the people living in the south eastern part of Nigeria but that is not true because there are many non govermental projects and programs that communities, corporate entities can embrace that can better the lives of the people without interferance of the government, we should stop using Nigeria or Biafra as excuse and start working out ways to make the life worth living, we can achieve many great things if we learn to come together.
